Porn Jackass Review

Unfortunately it looks like Porn Jackass isn't being updated anymore—it's one of the hangers on on the Meat Members network that still has an old funky layout (funky NOT in a good way) and you're just left wondering if they're ever going to do anything with it. If you've ever watched Jackass on MTV, you'll have a pretty good idea of what this site is like. Some of it is just stupid stunts involving nudity, and others are actually hardcore but still with a level of stupidity in it.

Stupidity can be good of course, depending on who you are and what kind of mood you're in at the moment. The good news is that you get access to the whole 40+ sites Meat Members network with this, so if you get tired of the antics on this site, you can move on to something more serious and even more naughty.

The layout... pretty much sucks. It's a giant mess. There are no descriptions for the movies, just eight thumbnails for each that really still don't tell you what the movie is about. Then you can download the movies in parts, either in WMV format or MPEG format, in two different qualities, and in two different segments. If you actually understood that the first time you read through it, kudos to you. It's laid out in a very confusing way, and it's just not functional to try and get to all the content this way.

The videos are old and small, and the links to pictures automatically open into zip files... So basically you're not given the option of downloading a zip file—if you want to see the pics, you HAVE TO download it. It's kind of awkward and it also prevents you from using the photos as a preview for the movies before you download them.

The content here really isn't bad... It's not particularly my style but I know a lot of guys who would really enjoy it. You've got girls sticking mousetraps on their boobs, girls painting targets on their ass and getting shot (ouch!), lots of night vision videos... If that sounds like your kind of thing I'm sure you're going to love what they've got here.

Unfortunately there are only 28 updates on the site at the time of this review and it appears that it hasn't been updated since at least 2006, maybe longer. It doesn't look like this site is going to go anywhere unless they revitalize it, and it seems that when sites go neglected on this network, they stay neglected. That's not to put down the network—it's a great network and you'll appreciate all 40+ sites that you get for free. It's just that some stay the way they are and some are updated constantly. It's a good mix though—it works.

Membership is $29.95 a month or $59.95 for 90 days, which is crazy for a site with 28 updates that never updates... But again you're getting a full network membership, so that is what makes the price make sense. However that's not going to affect the rating I give the site, because I'm not rating the network here, just the site itself...

I'd give Porn Jackass a 75/100 due to the crappy layout, inaccessible photos unless you download zip files, inadequate previews, old content, and lack of updates. You can probably spend a day or two enjoying the content here, but then you'll want to move onto the next site on the list. Check it out as a part of the network but don't expect to spend a lot of time here—there's just not enough content to go around.
